WINESTORIES FROM #EWBC2011 IN FRANCIACORTA

SO A SELECT 213 OF US ARE GATHERED IN THIS AMAZING MUSEUM IN BRESCIA A UNESCO SITE. WE WILL TALK ABOUT, DREAM ABOUT, SHARE ABOUT, RAVE ABOUT SPIT ABOUT, SNIFF ABOUT, AND SHARE THE SPECIAL BOND THAT WE HAVE AS SEASONED WINE BLOGGERS, WRITERS, WINEMAKERS AND PRESS.

 

WE WILL VISIT FRUILI, FRANCIACORTA, AND CHIANTI VIA OUR GLASSES. THIS MORNING WE STARTED WITH AUSTRIA's SWEET WINES. MMM.

THEN WE WILL CLIMB INTO BUSES, AND GATHER AROUND IN THE WINERIES AND LISTEN TO THE WINEMAKER TELL HIS STORY. WE WILL WALK IN THE VINEYARDS, WE WILL TASTE THE BEST OF WINES.

Im told so often, I am so lucky to inhabit this rarified world, we all are here in this room. Its a kind of magic as Freddy Mercury of Queen sang.
