So have you tweeted yet? Ev CEO of Twitter recently revealed that twitter will soon get the big Guys to make him big money with advertising. We just don't know how yet.
But do you have a brand?
Do you want to know what's going on even if you can't afford that newspaper subscription anymore.
T.V. been repossessed with your house that got taken by the bank? Well you can still go to the internet cafe and twitter away and build your fortune one tweet at a time. No really.
Check it out and get a twitter account today.
The wised-up have one already.
Read our post on how to build a media empire.
The big twitterers have a following of 20 to 30 thousand people who follow their tweets, and they monetise that. That's right.

If you're into monetizing this is definitely good. I see it as an art form. Much like the previous blog post here, if you're personal enough, then you'll be followed on Twitter or your blog.
I guess my brand is just about networking and making good friend-connections. I offer my "services", of helping anyone with whatever questions they have, while maintaining a tech base as a programmer and webmaster, I can use the internet and resources to help people. I also enjoy entertaining people, though the jury is out on that one whether it happens or not.
Although I have no interest in monetizing my social self right now, I won't say I never will. Its not all about money, after all. At least, for me it isn't. Make sure to get your Edgar bobble head when they're available... (just kidding but I would LOVE to have Me bobble heads...)
Im entertained by You Ed. I think people will be sorry if they have a personal brand and don't take advantage of that while twitter is still growing and developing. I think its here to stay and I use it to promote my blogs and brand and to talk to some of the cleverest minds on the web, and help people in turn.
If you blog you want an audience right, or why would you blog?

It's interesting to see how social media is going to be monetized over time. It is really difficult to try and figure out how to quantify all this social media stuff in dollar terms.
monetising or making money on the web though links, affiliate advertising and text etc is not new, while helping people in turn. I think the big wake up will come when twitter shows their financial potential and might this year and brands wake up to the faces they are missing.

I think you are on the right track.
Essentially it's a business so needs to be monetised and I see no problem with that.
Good information on your site. I am trying to build a good blog and would love any ideas you have to improve my site.
